Welcome to the Halifax Drum School
We offer expert one to one drum tuition,
beginners through to advanced, based in a custom
built studio. The school is conveniently located in
Luddenden Foot between Hebden Bridge and Halifax on
the A646 Burnley road. (Free parking is available
over the bridge behind the school.)
The Halifax Drum School also supplies expert drum
lessons to pupils at Sowerby Bridge High School, and
also to students at Calder High School.
Whether your aim is to play to a professional
standard and have a career in the music industry, or
to simply have a fun and rewarding hobby, The
Halifax Drum School is dedicated to help each
student realize his or her full potential.

The Halifax
Drum School is teaming up with Graham Young’s Leeds
Guitar Studio holding a two day Blues/Classic Rock
Course - dates to be confirmed however we are
looking at the third week in October. Places will be

The HDS is
proud to become one of the latest in a fast becoming
long line of endorsees of the fantastic ‘Bill
Sanders Practice Pad’ The pad has incredible drum
like response without the noise and is very durable
–we’ve been using the pad as a teaching aid for 6
months now and its clear to us its going to be with
us for some time! But don’t take our word for it,
feel free to try it out here at the school, email or
phone us to book your lesson now.
As Mapex
endorsees, we at HDS are happy to announce the
arrival of the brand new Mapex Meridian kit to the
studio.
HDS is
looking to hold a drum clinic with Asaf Sirkis in
mid November, could all interested students (non
students welcome also) please get in touch so we can
have an idea of numbers.

grade 4, Issac Rayment for passing his grade 5,
Gracjan Szewczyk for passing his grade 5 with
